Plasco Energy Group develops, builds, owns and operates proprietary technology that converts municipal solid waste (MSW) into PlascoSyngas, clean water and construction aggregate. PlascoSyngas is used to fuel engines to produce electricity with a low emissions footprint, leaving less than two percent of the MSW processed for landfill disposal. The company says the performance of its existing Ottawa plant and a strong pipeline of contract opportunities demonstrate the technology is proven and ready for commercial delivery. Proceeds from the recent financing will be used to fund commercial projects in Canada, the United States (California), the United Kingdom, Poland, the Caribbean and China. Management states the new capital bolsters the balance sheet and positions Plasco to execute on multiple projects that have emerged since its prior financing. The company positions itself as a green alternative for municipal waste management by providing environmentally superior waste-to-energy solutions.
