PlatformE, founded in 2015 and led by CEO Ben Demiri, is a London-based retail technology company that provides a made-to-order (MTO) production solution for fashion brands. Its system enables consumers to shop customizable products in-store or online and supports everything from sampling and concepts to e-commerce integration, manufacturing and delivery, adapting to brands' existing ecommerce systems. PlatformE says it can create one billion customization combinations and powers product customisation for clients including Gucci, Dior, Fendi and Emilio Pucci. The company works with more than 25 major brands worldwide and has operational offices in Porto. On October 28, 2019 the company raised $12m in funding; the backers were not disclosed. PlatformE intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its technology across the fashion, footwear and accessories industries.
