The company plans to use the capital to scale operations by adding fulfillment centers, build teams across product and tech, and strengthen its supply chain and brand presence. Over the next 12–18 months PlatinumRx aims to serve over a million customers by opening five new fulfillment centers. The business focuses on ensuring quality sourcing directly from large pharmaceutical manufacturers to support chronic-care medication needs. PlatinumRx helps chronic patients obtain necessary prescriptions by selecting and providing exact alternatives from leading manufacturers such as Abbott, Cipla and Alkem, matching the same salt, strength and efficacy as the original medication. The company operates in Bengaluru, offering same-day delivery to over 20,000 pincodes and two- to three-day delivery timelines. Founders Ashutosh Pandey and Piyush Kumar built the business to reduce monthly medicine expenses for chronic conditions without compromising efficacy. PlatinumRx also partners with rehab facilities and senior living facilities in Electronic City. The startup intends to use its new capital to expand product offerings, strengthen its nationwide footprint, and expand warehousing and distribution networks. It raised $800,000 in a seed round led by India Quotient with participation from several angel investors.
