Argus Cyber Security provides cybersecurity solutions to help car makers and suppliers protect Internet-connected cars and commercial vehicles from hacking. The company serves automakers and suppliers facing rising market demand for vehicle security. It plans to rapidly expand its development and customer teams using proceeds from the latest financing. Argus raised $26 million in a second round aimed at scaling headcount and product development. The startup previously raised $4 million in its first round. Argus Cyber Security is a Tel Aviv, Israel–based developer of automotive cyber security solutions. The company is led by co‑founder and CEO Ofer Ben‑Noon and co‑founder and chairman Zohar Zisapel. In September 2014 Argus raised $4m in a Series A round that included Magma Venture Partners, Vertex Venture Capital and a group of prominent investors including Zohar Zisapel. The company intends to use the funds to further develop its solutions. Following the round, Ran Achituv of Magma Venture Partners and Yoram Oron of Vertex Venture Capital joined Argus's board.
