Play My Way is a mobile app that briefly moves itself to the foreground to push curriculum-aligned multiple-choice questions to children aged six to fourteen. The app requires installation on the child’s device and lets parents tailor question difficulty to grade level; it also includes limited 'help me' and 'skip question' features. The team has been working on the concept since April 2015 and launched a beta in March 2016; the beta has around 23,000 users. Content is crowdsourced via an online portal for authors and reviewers — the company has amassed about 25,000 questions and produces roughly 4,000 new questions per month while negotiating with content suppliers. The product is currently free, with plans to monetize via a future $4.99 monthly subscription. The team is currently based in London as part of a three-month accelerator for Lebanese startups.
