PlayFresco develops a wireless motion-interaction system that sits under a table and senses hands and objects above it, enabling motion control without visible tracking hardware. Unlike optical systems such as Leap Motion, PlayFresco uses magnetic-field sensing to detect body parts and everyday objects, allowing users to, for example, use a round object as a steering wheel or wave items as pointers. Founded by Feras Abed-Alhaq, Monier Aghbar, and Sudqey Dwikat, the team showed a prototype in Europe and had planned to launch on TechCrunch Hardware Battlefield but could not attend after failing to secure U.S. visas.
