Playtag develops vision-based AI behavior analysis services focused on childcare and senior care. Its core product, Storyline, launched in March 2023 and uses AI to analyze images from cameras in daycare centers to generate bulletin-style notifications for parents. The company previously built an automatic notification service and conducted pilot tests at daycare centers and kindergartens in 2022. Playtag has recently entered Korea's senior care market, estimated at about 10 trillion won. In May 2023 Playtag secured 40 billion won in a pre-Series A round and plans to use the funding to bolster Storyline, invest in R&D, and expand its workforce. The company was founded in March 2022 by Professor Park Hyun-soo; Park Hyun-soo, CEO, described the investment as a milestone for expanding its AI behavior analysis technology.
