Playvation operates the Moomin Language School, a story-based digital language learning service for children aged 3–10 that pairs over 900 content units with weekly group sessions emphasizing playful social interaction and native English pronunciation. The platform includes data and reporting tools for educators and parents to monitor progress and plan learning. Playvation supports language learning in 27 international markets and has over 20,000 active users; its customers include Kipinä International Nurseries and Preschools, Norlandia Kindergartens and Touhula. The company has signed nine regional distribution deals and has more in the pipeline. Since launching in 2015 it has raised a total of €1.5 million and recently secured a €700K seed round. The new funds will be used to rapidly scale the Moomin Language School in key Asian and European markets and to hire for global sales and marketing roles.
