Overview
Playvox, founded in 2012 by CEO Oscar Giraldo, builds a Workforce Optimization platform that layers on top of customer service systems like Zendesk and Salesforce Service Cloud. The platform monitors digital channels—focusing on chat and email—and delivers feedback through an integrated learning management system and coaching tools to improve agent behavior. Playvox serves customers including Dropbox, Electronic Arts and Wish. The company announced a $25 million investment from Five Elms Capital and has now raised $34 million in total. Playvox also acquired Australian startup Agyle Time, a workforce-monitoring SaaS tool, enabling expansion into workforce scheduling. The combined product set is intended to create a more complete enterprise customer-service solution and position Playvox to compete in the enterprise market.
