PlayWorks is a London-based gaming creator that builds post-app-store mobile games for social networks, messaging apps and connected TV devices. Led by CEO Jonathan Boltax, the company publishes games that can be played instantly on platforms such as Facebook Messenger and Connected TV devices. It operates a large catalog of live games and maintains partnerships with Facebook, Comcast, LG, Roku and others. The company closed an initial £2m funding round to support its operations. The investment is intended to allow PlayWorks to continue to develop its brands and licensed IP.
