Plexāā is a UK-based MedTech company whose flagship product, BLOOM43, is a fully wearable medical device and companion app designed to supraphysiologically precondition skin ahead of breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. BLOOM43 uses intermittent thermal preconditioning to trigger heat-shock proteins, causing vasodilation and increased blood flow; proof-of-concept clinical trials have shown reductions in wound-healing complications.
