Plobal Apps is a Toronto-based no-code mobile app platform for e-commerce stores. It enables D2C brands to build and launch mobile apps, drive installs, engage customers and scale revenues. Led by founder Atul Poharkar, the company works closely with mid-market and enterprise Shopify customers with an emphasis on revenue generation for merchants. Customers include Steve Madden, Goose Creek, Matt & Nat, Koovs, and Rare Rabbit. Plobal raised $8.5m in funding in a round led by Elevation Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company intends to use the proceeds to build a large presence in North America, pursue technology innovation, and launch new products.
