The company was founded in 2015 by Hamed Abbasi and Serguei Kloubkov. Today over 8,500 finance teams, accountants and bookkeepers use Plooto’s solutions. Plooto plans to expand its platform automation, workflows and payment capabilities to serve more businesses and act as mission control for cashflow management. The company intends to use new funding to drive customer expansion, introduce new product lines, ramp up hiring and customize its offering for Accounting and Bookkeeping firms. Adoption of remote-first work has accelerated growth and the company says it continues to grow at a rapid pace.
