Plumbee is a social casino startup founded in 2011 by former Playfish executives Raf Keustermans, Gerald Tan and Jodi Moran. The company develops a mix of free-to-play and real-money social casino games and reports more than one million monthly active users. Plumbee says it wants to tap both free-to-play and real-money markets. Prior to the current deal the company had raised $2.8 million. Plumbee is partnering with Endemol to leverage the TV producer's internationally recognised brands and network to boost worldwide user growth. The strategic investment from Endemol is intended to accelerate the growth of Plumbee's digital gaming projects and help the company create differentiated gaming experiences. Plumbee was founded by former EA Playfish executives and operates as a VC-backed social casino games studio based in London. The studio launched its first title, Mirrorball Slots, a AAA social casino game currently in open beta on Facebook, emphasizing high production values and story-led gameplay. Plumbee has an international team of about 20 based in an East London office and is building an in-house mobile development team. The company has assembled an advisory board with veterans from social gaming and online gambling. It has a long-term strategic partnership with Quickspin AB to deliver content and consultancy. Plumbee announced $2.8M in funding from Idinvest Partners to support its product and growth plans.
