Plume
325 Lytton Avenue, Palo Alto, CA, 94301, United States
Overview
Plume builds a platform that centralises more than 150 continuously updated geographical datasets and deploys AI agents that reason over thousands of unstructured documents to produce territorial site intelligence. Its system synthesises structured geospatial layers (grid capacity, protected areas, zoning, land parcels) and unstructured regulatory information (municipal deliberations, permit histories, environmental studies) to accelerate prospecting, permitting and grid connection. According to the company and its clients, Plume enables site analyses up to 20 times faster and three times more accurate versus traditional manual processes. Founded by Edouard Labarthe (ex-Palantir) and Marc Watine (ex-Harvard researcher) and incubated by Y Combinator, Plume is deployed in France, Spain, Romania and the Czech Republic and aims to expand to Italy and the U.S. in 2026. The company is using the new funding to expand the team, enter new markets and develop advanced AI features such as stakeholder mapping, competitive intelligence and automated permit application drafting.
