Plume builds full-stack infrastructure that enables a wide variety of real-world assets—ranging from financial instruments to carbon credits and collectibles—to be issued as on-chain tokens. The platform is designed so holders can not only possess tokenized versions of these assets but also deploy them in common DeFi activities such as lending, borrowing, swapping and speculation. Plume’s testnet already supports more than 18 million user crypto wallets and over 200 integrated protocols, demonstrating early traction within the developer and user community. The company is currently focused on expanding this infrastructure to make alternative assets more liquid and programmable. A recent seven-figure investment from funds managed by Apollo Global Management will be used to fast-track Plume’s full-stack buildout and widen access to its ecosystem. By partnering with a major institutional investor, Plume aims to position itself at the center of the growing market for tokenized assets, which Boston Consulting Group and Ripple project could reach $18.9 trillion by 2033.
