Plytix provides an online image bank and CDN that stores product images tagged with individual tracking codes, enabling brands to retrieve analytics for each product regardless of which online retailer is selling it. The platform also supplies retailers with consistent, CDN-hosted product images, reducing image management costs and improving site load times. Plytix was founded in 2014 and is Copenhagen-based; the company has set up a headquarters in Malaga, Spain. Currently both brands and retailers have free access to Plytix’s services and the company does not yet generate revenue. The founders plan to introduce a premium paid version offering more sophisticated analytics features and dedicated support. The product is positioned to improve brands’ ability to understand product performance on third-party channels while simplifying image delivery for retailers.
