The PNEUMAHALER BDI combines advanced droplet ejector technology with digitally controlled breath-actuation in a lightweight, pocket-sized device. The inhaler includes integrated Bluetooth to provide feedback on drug delivery to patients, family members and health care providers. The company intends to use its recent financing to develop improved therapeutic treatments for patients with asthma and COPD. The product targets limitations of metered dose, dry-powder, and soft-mist inhalers to improve the efficacy of existing airway medications.
