PocDoc develops a proprietary smartphone-based platform that enables patients to perform rapid diagnostic tests for cardiovascular, metabolic and renal screenings in workplaces, communities and at home, delivering fast results. Its flagship 'Healthy Heart Check' allows cardiovascular screenings with results viewable via the NHS app. The company has partnerships with the NHS and private-sector partners including Asda, Pharmacy2U and Lincolnshire Co-op Pharmacy. Tens of thousands of patients have used the service and 97% report they would recommend it to family and friends. PocDoc says it has new tests for metabolic, kidney and whole-body health in the pipeline and plans to scale into new international markets next year. Financially, the company completed a €5.9 million pre-A funding round—the reportedly largest at this stage for a UK digital diagnostics company—which will support rapid growth and commercialization.
