Pocket eSIM builds eSIM-based mobile connectivity solutions that let users access mobile internet packages in more than 200 countries without needing a physical SIM card. The service targets frequent travelers by offering rapid and cost-effective access to data plans internationally. The startup was founded by Eymen Özkan and Akif Enes Kütük in Bilişim Vadisi. Following an earlier pre-seed round that included Fonangels, UP Venture Capital and Iz Yatırım Holding, the company has now raised $1.5 million in a seed round with participation from Ziraat Portföy, Bacacı Yatırım Holding, Milenium VC and Negmar Venture. Pocket eSIM plans to use the new funding to accelerate product development, strengthen its team, expand abroad, improve its technological infrastructure and enhance user experience, as well as to increase global strategic partnerships.
