PointCaré develops OnTarget, a platform that gathers and centralises data from operating rooms and intensive care units and provides caregivers with real-time, context-aware recommendations. The system combines classical NLP, LLMs and mostly proprietary agentic AI methods designed to make every recommendation traceable and transparent rather than a statistical black box. OnTarget factors in individual patient context and multiple variables to reduce alarm fatigue, avoid complications and lower care costs. A first patent application has been submitted and preparations for European MDR approval are underway. The company was founded in 2022 and is led by co‑founder and CTO Dr Henri Van Overmeire and co‑founder and CEO Veronique Pattyn. PointCaré has secured nearly €1.5 million in funding and will use the capital to further develop and clinically validate the platform ahead of planned international commercialisation by 2028.
