Points is a scalable blockchain data collaboration protocol that combines blockchain and AI to enable secure, configurable sharing of proprietary data for improved credit scoring and inclusive finance. The protocol is designed to encourage banks, institutions, tech companies and consumers to participate in data sharing to deliver fairer financial services and expand access for the unbanked. Points' AI is trained on data from 500 million credit profiles contributed by partners including Zhong Cheng Xin Credit Technology Ltd. and Teleinfo (a subsidiary of MIIT). The company was co-founded in 2017 by Sarah Zhang and Kate Shen and is based in Singapore with offices in Beijing and San Francisco. Points recently raised $8m in seed funding. The company positions itself to expand inclusive finance by leveraging its protocol and AI.
