Polar builds an AI-first web browser designed to help knowledge workers schedule workflows, save prompts, and assign tasks to agents based on open tabs. The browser targets use cases like sales, recruitment, marketing, research and business operations and is intended to be usable by non-technical users. Polar offers a free tier with a few daily AI credits and subscription plans starting at $20 per month for higher credit limits. The company says most users currently use Polar to automate tasks while keeping another browser as their daily driver. CEO Kevin Jiang previously worked on Comet at Perplexity and positions Polar as focused on delivering reliable agentic work on the open, logged-in web. Polar’s stated goal is to become a tool for automation and it remains open to expanding beyond a browser-centric approach.
