The company says it achieved a record increase in revenue and profitability in 2011 and 2012, driven by aggressive global growth of its location solutions. Its technology supports 24 U.S. wireless carriers, six managed services partners, and fifteen international deployments; the firm reports 39 global deployments in total (24 for FCC E911 Phase II in the U.S. and 15 for lawful surveillance and LBS in Asia and EMEA). Polaris has offices in Mountain View (headquarters), Dubai, Bangalore, London and Santiago. Following the recapitalization, management intends to use proceeds to fund further international growth. The company participates in standards and regulatory bodies related to E911, lawful location surveillance and LBS.
