PolyCera Membranes is a Los Angeles-based developer and marketer of membrane technology for industrial wastewater treatment and process separation. Led by CEO Simon Marshall and founder/chairman Eric Hoek, the company has more than 80 completed installations on three continents and 27 additional trials running on six continents. Backed by an IP portfolio of 61 patents, PolyCera is expanding its technology range to include nano-filtration and chlorine-resistant reverse osmosis membranes. PolyCera is a Water Planet company. It completed a $9M Series A and intends to use the funds to build out global manufacturing, R&D and sales capabilities. The financing is intended to support commercialization and international deployment of its membrane products.
