Polytomic provides a no-code web app that moves internal data into business systems (for example adding usage fields into Salesforce) by letting users build drag-and-drop connectors. The product is targeted at business operations teams and is configured by business analysts who set up a catalogue of data sources that others can then connect to. The founders, Ghalib Suleiman (CEO) and Nathan Yergler (CTO), built the company from problems they encountered at PlanGrid and released the first iteration of the product in September. Polytomic reports early customer traction and some revenue, with named early customers including Brex, ShipBob, Sourcegraph and Vanta. The company currently consists only of the two founders but plans to hire a few people with the new funding. Polytomic is a Y Combinator Winter 2020 graduate and was launched in 2019 after the founders left PlanGrid in 2018.
