Port 6 is building a wearable wristband and companion software that transcribes midair hand movements to enable touchless computer interaction. Its first prototype supports typing, gaming, playing musical instruments, creating artwork, and controlling an operating system. The company uses AI and biometrics-based technologies to expand interaction possibilities in augmented and virtual realities. The team comprises research scientists, electrical engineers, data scientists and designers. Port 6 aims to build Europe’s largest 'interaction laboratory' to support development and testing. The startup recently raised €1 million in a seed round to advance product development and prototyping.
