Port

Overview
Founded in 2022, Port builds a Backstage-style internal developer portal that not only catalogs engineering tools but also manages and orchestrates AI agents. The platform provides features such as performance metrics, human-in-the-loop approvals, and a “context lake” that defines data sources, context memory, and guardrails so agents can safely automate tasks like incident response, security fixes, release management, help-desk ticket resolution, and provisioning. Developers can register agents built elsewhere, create new ones within Port, or deploy a set of pre-built agents supplied by the company. Notable customers already include GitHub, British Telecom, and LG. CEO Zohar Einy positions the product as addressing the 90% of engineering work that is not pure coding, giving teams a single UI to control and iterate on their agents. With strong uptake and a growing feature set, Port aims to stand out in the crowded agent-orchestration market that includes LangChain, UiPath, and Cortex. The company’s latest funding values it at $800 million and brings total capital raised to $158 million, providing ample resources for continued product expansion and go-to-market efforts.
