Porter is a logistics technology platform that offers on-demand light commercial vehicles to power businesses’ last-mile delivery. It has expanded into intra-city two-wheeler courier services to diversify revenue streams and capture more of the urban logistics market. Founded in 2014 by Pranav Goel, Uttam Digga, and Vikas Choudhary, the platform matches shippers with a flexible fleet and pay-as-you-go pricing. In FY24, Porter’s operating revenue climbed 56% to ₹2,733.7 crore while its net loss fell 45% to ₹95.7 crore, underscoring improving economics at scale. Before its 2024 fundraising activity, the company had secured about $132 million from investors such as Peak XV, Tiger Global, Lightrock and Kae Capital. A $200 million round in May 2024, led by Kedaara and Wellington Management, pushed the valuation to $1.2 billion. Management intends to deploy fresh primary capital for product enhancement and market expansion while providing liquidity to early shareholders through large secondary blocks.
