In its pre-launch phase Portico has enrolled more than 1,600 members and launched a new website with direct booking capability. The company emphasizes flexible, below-market nightly rates and offers Discovery memberships with a $7,500 initiation fee and a $2,500 annual fee; the press release cites inventory examples at 30–50% below market rates. Portico leverages the operational experience and scale of Exclusive Resorts and remains a majority-owned subsidiary. It recently appointed Justin Halloran, a former HomeAway executive, as CEO to drive bookings and scaling.
