Posiq is a San Jose, California-based provider of a CRM platform for restaurants and brands. Founded in 2012 by CEO Rick Onyon, the company has developed a proprietary CRM that integrates with on-premise, PC, tablet and cloud POS systems and mobile phones. The platform monitors and engages guests each visit, learning detailed purchase habits, brand and dietary preferences, and demographic and social profiles. The company intends to use the new funds for ongoing product development and to expand sales channels. In conjunction with the funding, Chris Hemmeter and John Stanton joined Posiq’s board of directors.
