Pottsalat operates a delivery service focused on fresh, climate-neutral bowls and salads. The company is pursuing a franchise-first expansion strategy to grow its retail footprint across Germany. With new capital it plans to open ten new locations in 2023, including imminent launches in Münster and Frankfurt am Main. Pottsalat currently operates seven locations that together deliver to more than 20 cities and municipalities. The two pilot sites in Essen and Dortmund have been operating profitably since 2021 despite higher energy and food costs. Founders Alexandra Künne, Pia Gerigk and Ben Küstner are leading the rollout and supporting new franchise partners with site selection, fit-out and training.
