PowerLattice

Vancouver, WA, United States

Overview

Founded in 2023 by veteran engineers from Qualcomm, NUVIA and Intel, PowerLattice is tackling the data-center energy crunch with a miniature power-delivery chiplet that positions power circuitry directly beside the processor to minimize energy loss. Pat Gelsinger hails the team as a "dream team of power delivery," citing internal tests that show over 50% power savings versus conventional approaches. The first production run is already underway at TSMC, where an unnamed manufacturing partner is evaluating the technology. Looking ahead, the startup plans to open its chiplet for broader trials in the first half of 2026 with prospective customers such as Nvidia, Broadcom, AMD, Cerberus, Grok, d-Matrix and NextSilicon. By enabling more energy-efficient AI and cloud chips, PowerLattice aims to capture meaningful share in a market hungry for power savings. The company has raised $31 million to date, including a newly announced $25 million Series A, and investors expect it will pursue a larger round to finance full-scale production.
