PowerSphyr is a Danville, CA-based provider of wireless power charging solutions serving automotive, consumer and industrial markets. Its product portfolio supports magnetic induction, magnetic resonance and RF energy-harvesting technologies. Led by President and CEO Neil Ganz, the company develops systems for integration into OEM products, with a focus on automotive applications. In August 2018 PowerSphyr raised $4m in a Series A investment from Faurecia. The company said it will use the proceeds to accelerate delivery into the automotive OEM market. As part of the strategic relationship, Faurecia will begin delivering a full suite of PowerSphyr-enabled wireless power solutions starting in 2020.
