Praktis operates an end-to-end platform that manages raw material purchases, production, fulfillment and logistics for D2C brands and suppliers. The platform aggregates purchasing and processing to deliver economies of scale, allowing brands to focus on marketing and brand building. Praktis began in fashion before expanding into the beauty industry and says its ecosystem can be applied to other verticals. The company reported rapid growth—12x year-over-year from 2020 to 2021 and 4x year-over-year from 2021 to 2022—as the pandemic accelerated adoption of its services. Praktis will use the new funding for technology development for both brands and suppliers, hiring, and expanding its end-to-end supply-chain ecosystem. The company appointed Leonard Pontoh as chief financial officer (joining the board) and is led by co-founder and CEO Adrian Gilrandy.
