Precirix develops precision radiopharmaceuticals built on camelid single-domain antibodies and pursues a theragnostic approach combining imaging and therapeutic radioisotopes. Camel-IDS develops novel radiopharmaceuticals that use camelid single-domain antibody fragments (sdAb) labeled with radioisotopes to target cancer. Its lead product, CAM-H2, is an early clinical-stage treatment candidate for HER2-positive cancers. The company intends to use the new financing to fund a phase Ib/II trial of CAM-H2 while further developing two preclinical programs and broadening the pipeline. Camel-IDS was incorporated in 2014 as a spin-off of Vrije Universiteit Brussel and is led by CEO Ruth Devenyns and CSO Tony Lahoutte. Prior funding includes seed support from the Foundation Fournier-Majoie and three seed investors, complemented by non-dilutive funding from Innoviris. The company secured €37m in Series A financing in November 2018.
