Precyse Technologies develops active RFID-based real-time location and supply-chain visibility solutions that provide customers with visibility into the location and status of assets and the ability to manage and control them. Its solutions are positioned for verticals such as manufacturing, defense, retail and healthcare and aim to enable global adoption of asset networks and the “Internet of Things.” The company is Atlanta, GA-based. In August 2010 it closed an $11M second round of financing. The funding will be used to expand the company’s operations into new markets. Following the closing, Precyse appointed Russ Chandler as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
