Founded in 2023, Prelude began by helping companies with user SMS verification and has evolved into a full-stack digital onboarding platform. It combines telecom data, network signals and behavioural patterns into a single trust profile to enable continuous trust decisions across the user lifecycle. Prelude says its bundled stack — including a verification provider, fraud vendor, identity layer and device SDK — yields customers on average 40% savings on verification costs and improved conversion rates. The company has launched Auth API for continuous trust checks and Intel API for real-time intelligence such as SIM status and number reputation. Prelude employs about 50 people and has raised $27M to date following the $20M Series A. Its stated plans include expanding telecom partnerships globally and investing in machine-learning systems while scaling engineering, infrastructure and go-to-market teams.
