Its offerings include data analytics, PPO network management, claims editing, clinical bill review and audit, and out-of-network negotiations. Customers include Government Employee Health Association, Inc. and HCC Life Insurance Company. The company received a $4M investment from Edison Ventures. The capital infusion is intended to expand sales and marketing and provide shareholder liquidity. As part of the financing, Edison Managing Partner Chris Sugden and Edison Director Nanci Ziegler joined the company’s board. Founder Todd Roberti said Edison’s strategic guidance and healthcare and technology expertise will accelerate PHX’s growth over the next three years.
