PrEP Biopharm is a development-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on prevention of respiratory infections. Its lead compound, PrEP-001, is a nasally administered, broad-spectrum agent that leverages the innate immune system to prevent upper respiratory tract viral infections. A human proof-of-concept trial for PrEP-001 has been completed, and the company plans to complete ongoing phase 2a development with the new funding. The company develops and will market infectious disease products based on intellectual property licensed from Janssen Sciences Ireland.
