Pretty Simple is a German-based social games publisher that launched MyShops on Facebook, which has over 1.7 million monthly users. MyShops lets players create and customize virtual shops and purchase virtual goods with in-game points or Facebook credits. A majority of MyShops’ players are from English-speaking markets including the US, UK and Australia. The company’s 15-person team plans to roll out additional games later this year and recruit about 10 more staff. Pretty Simple aims to produce 2–4 new games per year and has raised external financing to support that plan. The company previously raised an initial €300K from Idinvest in April of last year.
