Founded in 2021, Preventio offers an AI solution that predicts the probability of tap water damages by analysing historical damage data, eliminating the need for sensor installations. The platform targets insurance companies, housing associations and pipe manufacturers to help identify risks and reduce costly water damage. Preventio has already built a large data pool with recognised industry partners including Viega and Vonovia. The company plans to expand its research and development team and enhance its predictive maintenance platform. Its immediate goal is to transform the AI-based prototype into a scalable SaaS application to enable broader market adoption and more efficient operations for customers.
