Founded in 2001 and based in Arlington, Texas, Priority Power serves over 7,000 commercial and industrial customers with more than $2.7 billion of energy procurement under management. The firm reports having reduced over 7 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions to date. Management says the business will use new capital to accelerate deployment of innovative energy solutions and meet rising demand for decarbonization services. Ara Partners, which acquired Priority Power in 2019, will remain an owner following the new investment.
