Overview
Founded in 2023, the Pro Padel League (PPL) is the world's leading professional padel league featuring 10 teams across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The league stages both men's and women's competitions and reaches roughly 300 million households globally through distribution partners and its YouTube channel. PPL has launched a PPL II player development league that debuted in March and includes more than $350,000 in guaranteed compensation and prize money to support emerging players. Several PPL franchises have been valued at more than $10 million, and notable team investors include athletes and sports executives such as Francis Tiafoe, Maarten Paes, Nacho Figueras, and Edward Rogers. The league announced landmark commercial partnerships with Frederique Constant and Franklin Sports and has disclosed a multi-event 2026 schedule across North America culminating in a championship in Miami. Recent fundraising—including a $10 million seed in March 2025 and a $15 million Series A in March 2026—positions the PPL to invest in infrastructure, player development, and event production as it grows the sport in the region.
