Founded in 2022 and based in Vitry-sur-Seine, Proclus collects equipment removed from tertiary buildings in Île-de-France that are due for renovation or demolition and refurbishes them for resale. The company inspects, tests and reconditions items such as circuit breakers, lighting fixtures and boilers and offers guarantees and safety assurances on the reused equipment. Proclus conducts audits of buildings to identify recoverable assets and sells to maintenance firms, construction artisans and major contractors including Vinci and Eiffage. It positions reconditioning as a cost-competitive alternative and a response to clients' growing RSE (CSR) requirements. The startup cites a regional supply opportunity of roughly 200,000 to 300,000 tonnes of equipment from tertiary buildings. Its recent €1 million raise is intended to scale its recovery and reconditioning operations.
