Prodigal is a Mountain View, Calif.-based intelligence layer for loan servicing and collections. Led by CEO and co‑founder Shantanu Gangal, the company provides intelligent workflow and optimization products that let clients gain insight into key customer interactions and offload repetitive tasks to AI. Its decision engine is designed to maximize recovery rates, optimize operations, minimize compliance risks, and coach agents to improve customer communication. Dozens of customers, including Fundbox and Sequium, currently use the platform. In July 2021 Prodigal raised $12M in a Series A round. The company intends to use the funds to expand its suite of products and grow the team.
