Prof Jim develops AI-driven educational multimedia tools and personalized learning experiences using a patented AI technology the company says sets new standards for learning. The startup recently closed a $1.5M seed round to support growth and strategic expansion. As part of that expansion it relocated its headquarters from Silicon Valley to Cincinnati to tap local talent in education, marketing, sales, and content production. The company employs 35 people across the United States and internationally. Leadership has been strengthened with the hire of Kelly King as VP of Partnerships and Dr. Kelly Puzio as Director of Learning Research, who will lead pedagogical research and product evolution. Prof Jim plans to scale operations and create local jobs in Cincinnati while continuing to evolve its AI technology to deliver impactful, equitable learning outcomes.
