Proffer is a Brazil-based SaaS platform that developed a smart pricing system for the pharmaceutical sector. Founded in 2021 by Edmilson Varejão and Vinicius Pantoja of AI Consult, the company partners with Farma Ventures. The platform focuses on optimizing profits and streamlining management processes and has run pilot projects with Drogal and Indiana. Proffer currently serves 50 customers and operates in more than 1,500 pharmacies in Brazil. In March 2024 the company raised $600K in a seed round led by Criatec 4. Proffer plans to use the funding to expand in the retail and distribution sectors and to develop pricing solutions for additional market segments.
