ProfitBricks offers IaaS with very large, flexible instances that scale up to 62 cores and 240 GB of RAM and use InfiniBand networking capable of about 80 Gbits/sec. Its platform allows customers to provision any combination of CPU cores and RAM, bill by the minute, and change CPU or RAM on-the-fly without rebooting VMs. The company runs its own proprietary VM-management software (a highly modified form of KVM) to add cores to virtual machines live and to enable fast VM migration.
