Prologue Medicines develops therapeutics by mining the viral proteome using its proprietary DELVE™ Platform, which combines computation and high-throughput biology. The DELVE Platform contains a large database of viral protein structures layered with data from known human proteins and annotated, predicted viral proteins. Prologue applies learned rules of natural viral evolution and machine learning to identify and create enhanced therapeutic proteins with properties that can modulate human physiology. The company aims to build a pipeline of medicines across immunological, oncology, and metabolic indications. Flagship Pioneering initially committed $50 million to advance Prologue’s platform and pipeline. Prologue was founded by Flagship Pioneering in 2021 and is based in Cambridge, Mass.
